Buy an oil filter for a Pre 1992 Range Rover / Land Rover V8, I assume you have car part type shops over there? Otherwise Land Rover dealer.
I think the Land Rover Part number is ERR3340.
Any decent oil will be fine, if you want to spend $$$ then use Mobil 1 15/50 don't use 0/50 it is too thin.
Otherwise a decent quality oil 15/50 or 20/50 grade.
20/50 is generally now only sold as for classics or older cars but is still available.
In my opinion change the oil often with a reasonable grade of oil rather than less often with expensive oil, if you're doing classic mileage (3000-5000 miles) then annually would be OK.

Actually 0W-50 is only thinner than 15W-50 when it's cold, which is a good thing, according to our friendly experts at Opie Oils:http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pdfs/Viscosity-Explanati...
Opie recommend 5W-50 for this engine (which is what I use), but I think you would only find this wide a multigrade in synthetic.
