Car Transporting

Afternoon all,

I'm looking to get a car transported from Dorset to Aberdeen and was wondering if anyone had used a decent car transporter or transporting company that they could tell me about? I have emailed a couple from the google search bit but just there isn't much in-depth info on their websites. Any to shy away from and ball park figures of prices?

Post up on shiply. Refuse bids untill theyre around what your wanting to pay then contact the company directly. Ideally you want someone who is coming this way with an empty load to fill to cover their travel costs.

Just back from a trip (just) north of the Border -VW camper Ringwood > North Berwick; Saab 99 Duns to North Shields; Lotus Elise Chester-le-Street to Chippenham.............wish I could have had the Elise for some of those roads.....

Driving the roads of Duns was trying to imagine one J Clark hooning around -I can see where he cut his teeth!!

I like to think he enjoyed bringing my Range Rover to Norway. The best thing is the thought of a lap in his Porsche in return, its only fair! Only kidding, hope you are having a good season.

Anytime Harvey!! End of June at Combe?

Just back from my third Scottish trip in three weeks, Ellon with a Westfield kit, Banff with a Triumph Herald convertible and Falkirk with a Hyabusa engined Westfield -one day I'll learn to drive it without stalling it!!

And also have a Range Rover to go to Fife in June if anybody wants anything repatriated to the South.....
