Can anyone confirm the classic car meetings at the Griffins Head pub in Papplewick, Notts in the evenings of the first and third Wednesdays of the month are on again this year?

If so is the first one 5th May? It always a good excuse to get away from work smile

Yep thats it Tony, same format as last year, 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, May thru September. Starts around 6pm, i think there may be some snap laid on too! Speaking with Kev he wants to try and expand on last year and is keen to get even more classic/sports stuff along.

Here's some info

It's at the Griffins Head pub http://www.thegriffinshead.co.uk/

Cars start arriving from about 6pm and leave before dusk (ie. about 8pm this time of year)

Papplewick is north of Nottingham on the B6011 between the A60 & A611

Meeting is in the field at the back

What it looks like on a busy night

There are load of pictures from last year's meetings on this thread

I know. frown popped along to Chatsworth but in the Panzer Wagon
The stock answer to when it's coming home is 'next week' but thats been the line for the past 5 weeks. rolleyes
It's not car related issues holding up the rebuild but it's getting a little annoying....then once it's back it's off again for the boys at Carizma to work a little magic.....Waddington looks like the current deadline...... paperbag

Bugger, if I had thought about it before, you could have taken mine to Chatsworth, we were away that weekend in the Porsche.

We will be at the White Hart on Tues and the Papplewick meet Weds with a For Sale sign in the Porsche smile Tony, is the missus coming to Papplewick?
