Glove box catch

My glove box catch seems to have expired.

Any idea what it came from ? looks like the catch off a seventies HiFi cabinet door.

Mine is just held up with velcro. Its not something I did, was like that when I bought the car.

The velcro seems to be stuck on with Araldite and it shows no sign of coming off, in fact its a bit of a fight to actually get into the glovebox at times.

wot he siad - broken catch on mine too now held on with Velro-a common fix my wedge glove box was was fixed in the same way
