Yet another PH beer thread...
My brother in law visited this weekend (hence my slight absence from the hallowed halls of PH). As we waxed philosophical about everything from the current state of the economy to the benefits of being a makeup specialist when Star Trek featured the green Orion slave girls (as you do), we enjoyed one of the offerings from Samuel Adams, Imperial Stout
I must say, this was absolute nectar. The flavours are very strong yet it is very smooth. I quite expected it to be an attempted poor man's copy of Guinness, but it was in a whole different league.
For an American offering, it is exquisite.
Try one on you're next holiday. You will not be disappointed!
