Just saw this in the Times: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/driving/features/...

First impression is that it was struggle as I can't imagine many people would want to let some unwashed chimp loose in their car.

But then maybe it will be the unwashed chimps who let their cars out as hygeine and wear and tear etc doesn't matter so much.

Fair point. It'll get driven hard too. Who cares? Not my motor.

Does make me wonder if people will fall foul of any HPI/ finance agreement for hiring out the cars etc.

So if you needed to do some serious miles over, say, a weekend but didn't want to put them on your car...Just get a Golf S for £23 a day from whipcar. Up and down the motorway all weekend and your personal car isn't a day older! The Golf though, another 1,000 miles on it....

Great for you, st for the owner though! Not to mention it'll have it's neck ringed!
