Dashboard side-light indicator lamp missing on my car!

Just refurbished my dashboard to replace the cracked walnut with carbon fibre. On removing i noticed there is no side-light indicator lamp, and two spare unconnected spade connections.
Was a lamp ever fitted? (I cant think why someone would go to the trouble of removing a failed lamp and not replace it), or is it very hard to get a replacement bulb?
any advice appreciated.

My 97 Griff has got a sidelight warning light as well as ones for headlight and foglight (exactly as shown in the handbook). Enclosed pic. shows the 9 warning lights in the back of the perspex display panel. Not sure who deserves credit for this pic but found it somewhere on the forum.
