What are these like as a daily proposition?
Real world MPG? Expensive to fix?
I'm thinking of one to supplement my new motor when i get it this week as I need a backup/load lugger.

I've been running a V70 T5 auto for a couple of years without any problems (145K miles on the clock).
It was modified a bit and running around 300hp. MPG on a (gentle) run touching 30, around town more like high teens. I anticipate the manual to be slightly better on fuel - it averaged just shy of 33mpg on the run back from Sheffield on Saturday.
I haven't found it expensive to fix, genuine parts can be had at a good discount from a very friendly dealer in Wales who supplies all the forum folks.
AWD versions are a bit more troublesome apparently.
