Hi all.
Im currently finding it an awful struggle to find myself a clean daily runner for a sum off £1000.
My criteria is as follows...

1.Under £1000.

2.Seat five.

3.5 door prefered.

4.Full MOT or as close to as possible.

5.Tax would be advantage.

6.Balance of quick yet frugal.

7.New as possible.(Ms fault as i like older cars!).

8.Close to swindon, wiltshire as possible or delivery to me if possible.

Thats it!.

I expect im asking to much but that is my list.
Can you help?.
Please post links.

Thank you all.

I would've tried looking for a Honda Civic VTI, they are a tad noisy though, or maybe a Golf or 306 diesel?

Within 25 miles of postcode SN1:

Or if you stretch another £250 or so:

What I was really looking for was a Nissan Primera, Toyota Avensis or 406 diesel, all of which should be perfect, but there aren't any within budget near Swindon.

Mine is a 16v and isnt that bad on fuel, I expect a 8v would be even better.

My brother has an 8v which uses a lot less fuel than I'd expect. It does make up for it by constantly going wrong though.
