As long as the weather is nice tomorrow I intend to drive that wonderfull wiggly route from Ockham Common to Havant (probably won't bother going as far as Hayling Island).

Then I will drive it back again biggrin

If anyone else is free and fancies it you are welcome to join me.

Will aim to get to Ockham by 10 or 11. Perhaps stopping for a sandwich halfway round depending on how much fun I am having driving

I'll check the thread and email in the morning so post or PM if you wish.

Bugger, still grounded John.
Have great fun. We did that route recently during the day, and it can get a little log jammed in the earlier stages, but plenty of room for passing later on

Shame. I did have you down as a likely candidate wink

I drove it a couple of times during the week around this time of day when I first got the Elise (off work with a bad foot as it happens! hehe). Was reasonably clear, seemed worth the trip.

Get well soon mate.

Was a good day out smile Part of the route was closed unfortunately - hopefully for repairs! Found pot holes all over the place today. They need to get the same gang on it that repaired the 4494; lovely job been done there since the winter.

Talking of poor road surface. Has anyone else noticed the huge bump across the road if you join the M25, to head South, from the M4? Its on the flyover that takes you over the M4. Think its an expansion joint but its more like a sleeping police man!! I hit it hard a couple of weeks ago so this time I slowed to 30mph (would have gone slower but had a van behind) and it still felt horrible.

Yep, my evening dash to the coast was pretty good, lots of nice cars at the meet too. Took a 'slightly' scenic route home via Salisbury, some biggrindriving
