So I get back to the car yesterday to discover that I have gotten a £50 ticket for buying a second parking ticket within an hour of my last one expiring!

If the car park was busy and we had some sort of wait on then ok but the place was empty! I understand them enforcing this on Market days aswell where the car park literally has a line of cars round the block but it is always empty on a Monday...

I know, I know, I should have checked/read the whole sign...but generally I check the prices then off I toddle after paying my parking tax.

I brought the first one then my mate popped back later and brought a new ticket to extend my time, but the twonk left both on the window, Mr Jobsworth has come along and obviously seen them and then ticketed my car.

I was thinking though...The fact that my mate brought the second ticket, would that mean he entered into a seperate contract? Surely he could not have agreed, at the time of me parking, to wait an hour after my ticket had expired before buying another?? And on the same line of thinking, surely I can not be held responsible for a second person entering into a contract for parking in my car, in the same car park, after me?

Edited to Add, yes its a council car park, not private.
(Removed the swearing too, have calmed down now)
