Z3M coupe, M5, M3

Hi All,
2nd post so be kind...Read a lot on PH but write little!
As a forever fan of estates, i've always been tempted by a Z3M Coupe (Have a company car estate already: 2010 B8 A4 2.0TDI, love it but not in a performance kind of way!). The Z3M appeals to me quite a lot as a cross breed between an estate and a coupe. The thing is, I could only use it at w-e and it would be the wife's car during the week. My question is:
- Would it be OK for her to use for run-abouts with the 9 Months old son?
- Can you deactivate the pass side airbag to put a child seat?
- Maintenance costs...Scary or not?
As a sake of practicality, the M3 MY 2000-2002 for same budget and M5 similar MY are I'm sure way more practical but somehow lack something compared to the style of the Z3M coupe...to me at least!
What are your views?
PS: The car would be bought and registered in Germany so bear this in mind when suggesting other cars (It's a very different world out here regarding 2nd hand cars / exotics!!)
