Between Garston Park Parade and the Bus Garage ..

Didn't know there were many accidents there? It is about 200m from a set of traffic lights, no idea how people could be doing serious speeds there.

That's the top of my road.

The camera going north is on the spot where the BiB have been lasering for several years and can be seen clearly, so not too much of an issue. However, the southbound camera is a joke. Not only have they put if behind a bus stop, but it's also just round a corner AFTER two busy side roads - would've been far better (if indeed we need it at all) to have sited it prior to the two side turnings BEFORE the bend. I'm going to email the Herts Scam team to see what the logic behind the placement is.

As for the road - always been a 30 limit but easy to do a fair bit more if it's empty.

Ok, there are actually FOUR cameras on this stretch - the two down towards the bus garage and the two up the top of my street. Overkill or what?

So they have installed 4 cameras? Unbelievable. Have there really been many accidents between the Garston Lane junction and the Kingsway/A405 junction?

My office is right by there

Can't recall anything serious, although maybe it comes under the "or a recorded history of speeding" caveat? Only thing I can think of for the bus garage cameras is McDonalds and TGIs and the Fast and the Furious types who dwell therein. Be interesting to see what sort of speed some of the "not in service" buses get up to. Certainly don't remember any serious/fatal crashes up there. There has been at least one fatal on the stretch up by the Seventh Day Adventist church - two lads died a few years back after taking the corner at stupid mph.

Noticed there are also rubber strips over the road on the A41 by North Watford Cemetary....seems like the Herts Scam mob have been sucked in by all the pro camera soundbytes.
