I know I know - age old question.

But what tyres are poeple reccomending for road use only?

And also where to get them from cheapest.

15"

At the moment i'm running some hideous Conways (whatever they are) and one has a slow puncture and another is looking a little worn.

I'm a big fan of falkens, cheap, last ages and give good grip in both wet and dry (they also have nice tread patterns)

+1 for Falkens, albeit in my case at 14"

The usual suspects for me: Toyo T1R or Goodyear F1 GSD3.

Toyo T1R for £30 in 195/50 r15 on camskill

i was going to try them in 195/55 r15 for a bit more compliance and ground clearance but in that size they're £50

£120 compared to £200 a set does make a little difference!

Looks like a bit of a bargain - and the lower load rating ones - 82 instead of 85 are only £29.49

Think i'll be going for these.

indeed, i'm doing the same - maybe they wear fast and/or are crap but at less than the price for a 185/55 r13 you can't complain, plus they'll be off after year or so if the reviews are right

i would ask whoever you buy them from to give you the dot code date of manufacture though

Has anyone used the Hankook V12 in 195/50/15" as a road tyre? That is the control tyre for the Ma5da racing championship, and they are only about £35 each
