Has anyone encountered a problem where the window drops whilst driving and the 'door open' warning is displayed on the computer display? It seems that the only way to cure the problem is to open the door and then close it again, but sometimes this doesn't cure the problem and I have been driving around with the window half open - not good at this time of year!

Sounds as though the door closed microswitch has come loose/out of adjustment, I belive this behind the door latch alloy cover & is easy to adjust.

Yup...you are absolutely right...same thing happened to me when I was leaving a tvr garage after servicing and one of the guys there sorted it out there and then in about 2 minutes....

a spot of WD40 on the micro switch seems to have cured the problem - thanks for the advice.

My problem seems to be worse than that. When driving at say 69mph !!! the door just opens on its own! then you have to put your hand out of the window, press the door opener under the mirror then close the door, can be quite scary any cure for this anyone?

Although it still does it from time to time. It's great training for controlling your bowels in unexpectedly terrifying situations!
