Manifold Gasket

Hi there,

I wondered if anyone knows if the manifold gasket on my 94 Griff 500 is a TVR special part or a Rover item that can be bought fron my local motorfactors - is there any part numbers?

I've checked all past forums and cannot seem to find anything.

I take it you mean the intake manifold?

2 Rover types are commonly available, a sheet metal item and a newer all black item with a thin layer of foam on it. You could use either but the later one is supposed to have diferent valley end rubber seals. Having said that a lot of people still use the early rubber seals without any problem.

You may have to enlarge the ports in the gasket to match the ports in your head. I'm assuming there isn't a special item for the tvr because I've only seen them fitted with the tin gasket.
