Hello guys, I have had a vibration under braking occur recently but only under very specific circumstances, basically when slowing from 75-80 down to about 65 or so I get a noticable vibration, not too harsh but you know its there, but only under medium pressure not hard or light braking.

I have changed the discs/pads on the front, changed tyres recently and swapped wheels from front to back. I have also had the alignment checked today and this is ok. I also had a service done last week and asked them to check for any issues and they couldn't find any.

So over to you guys anybody experienced something like this before?

Thanks

When you changed the discs did you make sure the mating faces were clean of any rust, crud etc. If not the disc might not be fitting squarely. This would affect the braking and produce the feeling you have.

Ye gave them a good clean out, forgot to apply any copper grease as didn't have any in the house when I done it, may take them off tomorrow and give it a good check over and another clean up properly to see if this helps.

On the Mondeo? Have a good look at the front lower suspension bushes. If they are deteriorating slightly, they might be allowing a resonance to build up at a particular speed/frequency.
