Hey,
inspired by another thread currently running I was wondering if you guys prefer a clean show car or a well used look?

Also is it just me that thinks that dirt accumulated over a long journey looks better than a generally dirty (neglected) car?

Better than the usual "wash me", or "I wish my wife was this dirty"...

Clean every time. I'm a little ocd when it comes to car cleanliness but i will sometimes let the car get a bit dirty so it's more rewarding cleaning it biggrin

i am usually anal about with my car and keeping it clean.
but for a month the main road to my house was closed so had to use the country roads (along with alot of diverted traffic) this resulted in the roads turning in to rally tracks thus the result is shown below

Well used all the way out of the two - Makes the car less desirable to steal, people tend to park away from you in car parks and until it gets filthy enough to alert the environmental agencies you are spared the hassle of washing it.

I do like a clean car but more often than not my car would be well sat in the 'well used' camp...

I usually like to keep my cars clean, but we always make and exception when we go to the rally GB, it becomes a contest to see who gets muddiest biggrin

I love my car when its completly clean and detailed, with just a little mud spray up each side from the front wheels. Think it looks so much more sexy than a 100% dirty or clean car. :P

I can't stand clean cars or bikes. Get out and use it FFS, if you want something to polish buy some silverware. My Exige was always covered in road grime for that just-finished-le mans-look, my KTM just looks stupid clean, and the Land Rovers I've owned, well, let's just say they weren't black with 22" chrome wheels.

I like filthy! Haven't washed my bmw yet, other then windows and lights. My bike has been cleaned twice, as I'm quite fond of it. A protective layer of dirt prevents scratches. Possibly.
Once cleaned my golf (the one and only time) by taking a sprint round the m25 in the pissing rain. It actually ended up cleaner!

Is it just me or is this car in dire need of some new rubber?
