Misfire or something..? 320D E90.

Hi all,
First time posting on here as a BM owner. I've got a '55 reg 320D with 115k miles on which I've now had for just coming up for 1 year. I'm the second onwer and the previous owner had really looked after the car which is in excellent nick with all the service stamps in order.
However...recently the car seems to have developed a misfire or similar between around 1500 - 2000 rpm. It's only fairly subtle and doesn't happen all the time but since the car has been so trouble free thus far I just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar? Once past the 2k mark, the car accelarates smoothly and strongly.
The car was serviced about 2 months ago and was given a clean bill of health, so a bit baffled. Anyone any ideas here?
