Songs with identical beginnings..
Discussion
You now the ones - you hear the first few notes/bars on the radio and you are convinced is one thing, but turns out to be another.
for example:
Bachman Turner Overdrive - You Aint Seen Nothin' Yet
and
Roy Orbison - You Got It
Any more?

Don't Leave Me by Green Day
When we saw Blur at Reading about ten years ago they began to play their tune (we had never heard it before, being connoisseurs of their earlier work, natch) we started to sing along to the Green Day song. When ol' Damon launched into his lyrics we were most confused, as was the one other person in the 100,000 or so people there who also knew the Green Day tune.

Some modern song (can't remember which) has nicked the beginning of Horace Silver's "Song For My Father":

I also think that Kesha and Toyo Cruise (he might have a different name, but my version has a small element of sensibility) seems to have ripped off the MASH/ suicide is painless bit.

Baa Baa Black Sheep.
Almost.
Yes, I do have a baby and have to hear these songs on a daily basis.
Old MacDonald had a dog, bingo was his name-o...Baa Baa Black Sheep.
Almost.

The Take that song and Lilly Allen's song It's not alright (I think) use the same tune.
