Can do either, depends if you want to trek it to the main gate to purchase. They never run out AFAIK so I wouldn't worry about it until you get there. It's what I'm doing this year again.

Yep - just buy General Entrance there, no need to pre buy.

Pre-buying saves a little bit off time/effort but you do get to pay for it. The ACO list Enceinte Generale tickets as E56 each (£48.55) but most ticket sellers seem to be selling in the £60 (E69.24) to £72 (E83.09) bracket.

If you are camping inside the circuit (so Houx, Maison Blanche, Karting Nord, Tertre Rouge, La Chapelle and Interieur Musee) you will need a EG ticket to get in and each camp site's entrance has a ticket selling shack.

Considering that most of us will be taking a drive to one supermarket or other at some point early in the trip stopping en route to buy tickets isn't that much of an effort.

They are advertised as 65 euro on the ACO website.
I buy in advance from TL for £62 inc p&p. I can't be bothered with the extra pain of sorting it when I get to the circuit. Too much drinking to do!
