Birds stuck in the front of cars!
Discussion
Just walking though a car park a few minutes ago, and saw a silver golf r32 mk2, seemed to have a bit of a crash so looked down it had a whole dead pigeon in the mesh on the low front, neck drooping.
Didn’t take a picture because I’m pretty squeamish and it was awful.
Never seen anything like it to that degree, so is it that common?
And what have you seen squashed in the front of cars?!

Earlier this month, while on a local Aberdeen pistonhead run, driving down the coastal road, we were at Inverbervie, and out of nowhere, a cat run out on the road, cars were going about 50-60mph and the back legs of the cat go squashed by the oncoming car. I looked back to find the cat dragging itself off the road.

I arrived at work years ago in my golf rallye and someone pointed out I had a blackbird wedged in the bumper. It stank as it had been there a while pressed up against the rad
After the jokes about having a new front wing I pulled it out. In bits.
If anything's stuck in the radiator, best to let it act as a seal until you can get to a garage....mate of mine made the mistake of pulling the bird out and found himself stranded as all the water fountained out. He was lucky not to scald himself....

Did anyone stop to help the poor thing?

I was driving my Rangie a while back when I saw two blue tits race across the front of my car. 60 miles later I stopped only to find one of the birds hadn't made it. It was stuck, very dead, with its head through one of the hexagonal holes that make up the grille. I pulled on the body to get it out and the head fell off...
