PS3 Multi Audio Output

We play COD MW2 on a regular basis with bluetooth headsets with the voices naturally coming through them. However, one of the guys claims to have our voices coming out on his tv speakers and his headset using the multi audio output settings.

I can't work out how this is done. Can anyone help?
