Car Wrapping: Matt Black or Gloss?

Hi,

anyone got any thoughts on what looks best on a Lamborghini - black matt wrap like this:

Not sure if matt black is a fasion or whether it will stand the test of time...?

Also, any thoughts on the 'lamborghini' sign at the rear - keep it shiny silver or change colour to something like yellow, orange, pink?!

Yeah, gloss paint work on a car, how very retro !

Did see a Saab 96 in matt black with white wall tyres the other day, looked alright

How about a carbon fibre finish? Saw it on a newish m3 the other day and it looked good to me

had a gloss black G, but looking to buy a Murci and most of the colours im looking at are dodgy i think - like silver, green, etc...
I thought about white gloss -but again, could just be a s/term fashion and dont wont to look like a gangster/footballer....

With respect, Lamborghinis should be in outlandish colours, you of all people should know that!

However if you are going to wrap a green/orange car I would go with white and refurb the wheels in black or graphite.

surely if you just got a yello repainted by someone reputable and proved it hadn;t been bumped this is a better bet than 'glass wrap'ing it...

personally i only see some point in wraps if it's a very 'inidividual' colour. so a yello s class merc or maybe making something 'baby blue' or nato green or something.

so have you thought about going matte battleship grey or something like that?

Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING is worse than stick-on carbon-fibre. The real stuff is a wonderful thing, but fake carbon fibre is an insult.

i have just seen 'W5EMY' (i think it was). an R8 in proper tinfoil wrap. in pictures these always look 'naff' and it probably would in York or somewhere but in the west end it actually looked quite good and didn;t even look that flashy!

(it was with a gallardo, f430 and andother r8 mind..! )

Hi does anybody know about a company called carskinz, which are based in St Hellens but have many dealers, I have a BMW 5 Series and want it wrapping in matt black, Ive been told they are good?
