Dear Wifey,

Can you please refrain from filling the glovebox with senseless mumbo jumbo.

This includes Acrylic nail kits, perfume "gucci floral bks", tissues, gloves, "Chat" magazine or whatever else.....

Oh, and it don't matter about filling mine up, I'll fill yours while I'm at it!

And yes, I know you want to drive my car all the time now, seeing as it has 250+bhp compared to your Astra with 60bhp. And no, its not legal to drive down the middle of a "Zig Zag road".... there is a reason why there are two lanes!!!!

I give the wife the car for one week and I swear the glove box is so jammed full of crap its about to break off the hinges...

Women, can't live with them, can't live without them.

3.0si Z4 Roadster. Apparently her workmates call her a WAG now..kinda hits home why my mates think I drive a "poofs" car!!!

To be honest I was looking to sell it for something bigger in the future. Her exact words were "Over my dead body"...

Nice car mate. yes Why don't you take her for a 'drive' in it and scare the bejesus out of her on some B roads so she'll never want to go near it again?

Done it, and it makes no difference. Since fitting a Remus catback, she goes crazy for the exhaust wail now.

She has had Advanced Driver Training, been involved in "road wars" (She is an ex-copper) so i'm pretty much fked on all counts to be honest.

Friend referred to my 3.2, 321bhp M3 Evo as 'an old mans car'. No nail polish, perfume, toiletries or chocolate are in my car. No one eats or drinks in my car. The window is opened when I say so. The boot (except first aid, tool kit and spare) is empty.

Buy her her own. It's the only way wink

I take it the ol' GT3 got her very excited?!

You line 'em up, I'll knock 'em down!

Easiest solution to this problem is to own a car without a glove box. biggrin

My OH turns all our cars into an extension of her handbag(s).

She never cleans them and they're always almost empty of fuel when I come to drive them.

Mind you she does pay for them, so I'm not gonna complain smile

My wife drove my Cerbera once, scared the st out of her and she never wanted to drive it again. She could barely see and couldn't push the clutch down, and she is normally a nutter for speed. If you want to stop them driving it, buy a proper man's car wink

That said, I am off to look at a Roadster S this weekend, so I am going to be in the same boat as you smile

"Women! Know your place!"

Come on, why shouldn't women want to drive exciting, powerful cars?

Most women (not all, but most) I know prefer good cars to 'easy to drive' ones. Sometimes they pick duller cars for practical reasons (My SIL had a Citroen Picasso for a while. Why? Because she had 3 boys and it was one of the very few cars with three PROPER separate seats in the back), but I'm sure if you asked most women what they'd really like to drive, many would pick cars the bigots (word of the week) here think are only suitable for manly men wink

Put the boot on the other foot. If your missus had a GTR or a Porsche 997 and you had a company Vectra, wouldn't you do everything you could to drive HER car? smile
