I'm hearing rumours that prototypes are already running at Nardo, Southern Italy and the power output is likely to be around 750bhp. Also official launch is likely to be at Geneva early next year.Probably common knowledge but hey ho. Price circa £300k
I've got a letter of intent in for this one at Lambo Manchester, anyone got any other info on it?

750BHP? Doesn't that blow the Reventon out of the water?

[opens can of worms and runs away!]

hehe

But seriously, sounds awesome. Isn't 300k a bit steep though?

Average sort of price range for 700+ BHP isn't it?

I think going forward 'Junior' league supercars from Ferrari/Lamborghini are going to pan out about £200k and the V12's another £100k

Fair point - I was comparing it solely to the current LP640 and the 6.2 of days gone by. Should be one helluva car though!

Not heard much, similar to you c£300k and around 700 bhp. Different dealer but deposit down months ago, as have several others it seems, its going to be a beast.

I have my letter of intent in with Lamborghini London. I can't wait to start hearing some information on the car. There are a number of rumour about it on www.teamspeed.com but I can't wait for some facts and some pictures.

Put a LOI in when I ordered the SV.

All I 've read is that it's lower, flatter and wider - with lots more power - with sequential option (which sounds like fun).

I bet it will be cheaper than they are quoting now. This practice of "highballing" the new model's price is an old trick. Then we are grateful for the "very reasonable" price of the new car.

I predict it will be launched at LP640 money and cheaper than the SV.

Considering that a 458 Italia is almost 200k, therefore one would assume that the new Gallardo should be around that price, when you want to make something that is a clear step up in terms of engineering, I think that a 300k price tag (or perhaps 270k) is necessary to achieve a big enough gap over the 'baby' of the range. I should imagine that if Ferrari replaces the 599 it will come in around 270-300 thousand.

My LOI has been in since early 2006....I'm still about 10+ down the list though!

The SV is under priced compared to its peers, £300k for the new Murci (assuming its a belter) wont find many people walking away
