Good evening guys.
After a typical UK monsoon where the passenger footwell floodded badly the old boy wouldn't start. I dried the ECU out externally then checked the inside which appeared to be dry. I then had the ECU professionally checked and all was well. I had the battery disconnected and charged it with an appropriate trickle charger. When I re-assembled and re-attached everything the engine turned over normally but would not fire.I noticed that there was no fuel pump prime noise and that the alarm light on the security button on the centre console was flashing. I'm assuming something has locked out as a result of the battery being disconnected.
Can anyone point me in the right dirrection please ?
