One of my very lovely lady friends requires a good runner for the summer. She stipulates "not one of those bubbly cars". By this she means a car with lines, not a new beetle of some girlie guff. Budget is 3G, and a bit of cool about it.

The floor is open. Maybe beer for the winner, or even a dinner date. Not with me, mind.

A nice E30 Cab is a stunning car, especially in calypso red smile For 3k you are into the good stuff, buy as late as you can with leather sports seats, the B25 engine and manual gearbox! You'll never get bored of it, just check for rust and oil/water mixing!

Rather nice.

In her 30's and single (no ring), gotta be too good to be true!

I think she'd look pretty good climbing out of a nice e36 convertible yes

Erm.

Anyway, the car. MR2 T-bar, you should be able to get a very nice example for that budget

Mark 3/4 golf cabriolet. Great cars, plenty of room for 4, huge boot and its a bloody golf, so you know its going to be at least a tidy car.
