Fiat Coupe Race car

If anyone's interested hubby and I hope to be racing our newly converted Fiat Coupe race car at Brands Hatch on Sunday 9 May with the Classic Sports Car Club. 40 minute 2 driver race.

Any info on how far from standard it is?

It's been uprated for long distance events such as the 40 minute Classic Sports Car Club races and also 1 hour + races at Spa etc. It has adjustable suspension, uprated exhaust, hybrid turbo, uprated pistons etc and of course it's been chipped. We haven't massively increased the bhp (but the torque has a big improvement) as we prefer to have reliability. No point being fast for half the race before it blows...!

Ah, that pic made me all nostalgic for the Coupé I sold about 18 months ago! Great little cars.

I wish you all the best in your racing! Just avoid the Clarkson Boadicea-style wheel spike, I'm pretty sure you won't get them through scrutineering!
