how is this for a cleaning and maintaining list?
Discussion
Right guys, i have a few cleaning products but want to improve the list without spending big bucks, all i'm buying is from cleanyourcar.co.uk and some products i already have:
2 buckets (no grit guards though)
autoglym bodywork shampoo (already got)
this to was with: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/m...
clay: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/clean...
and lube: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/dodo-...
drying towel: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/microfibre-cloths/cl...
i have autoglym super resin polish already, to be applied with:
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/accessories/sonus-sf...
and buffed with this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/microfibre-cloths/ul... (i'm going to buy 2 packs of these and use these to buff everything)
then some sealant: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/carlack-68-...
and apply with this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/accessories/blue-per...
and buffed with the buffing cloths.
then wax: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/collinite-476s-s...
apply with: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/accessories/foam-wax...
and buff with the cloths.
sorry it's been long! won't be claying, polishing and sealing every time but you get the jist. mainly want to preserve the paint work (hence the long life sealant and heavy duty wax) and would rather a very slightly poorer finish to better longevity, the car is nearly 30 years old after all.
what do we reckon? thanks for reading gents.
edit: i'm guessing you don't need to dry the car before claying? stupid question
