4.0 L Dyno figs

Hi

My 4.0 L STD tuscan made 342 BHP at the flywheel last Saturday at the open day @ Raceproved.

A 4.0 L S tuscan made 359 BHP at the flywheel on the same day.

About 30 bhp up on a Tuscan S will do nicely thanks

Meaningless i'm afraid as not on the same dyno on the same day - you should know that by now.

Incidentally it was my 4.0ltr S that did the 359 at the fly on this day. On the other thread there's that vid of it doing 360 at the hubs so illustrates perfectly how you can't really compare numbers across dynos.

Following a remap on TVR Power Rollers my standard 4.0L made 322bhp at the wheels (371 ish at the fly)and 295ftlb of torque. As said before though, pointless comparison as it was different rollers on a different day.

Im guessing you are decatted with a decat map / chip though NTEL?

Correct. The bespoke remapping was carried out by John Ravenscroft himself. He's a clever bloke!!!!!

Good numbers from a 'standard' car, would hope mine is similar with its rebuild last year...
