FRUSTRATING - ABOUT TO GIVE UP

OK just a little update and sharing my feelings about fixing a crashed cerb , as most of you probably notice or not , i wasnt at chadsworth , my car still not finished ,still tryin to finish , i m about to pull my hair out 
ok here it goes after months of fiber glasswork and weeks of water sanding 6 months on, i got it painted all excited waiting for chadsworth and all that
,testing the car for an hour about to put the bonnet first i see loads of oil coming down from the passenger side there is a tiny ting hole on the oil pipe from the cooler , ok fixable bought a new pipe . old pipe was so old wasnt moving at all so i tried to cut it in half so i can turn the not no luck it has metal inside , tried a metal saw doesnt work 5 hours later i used a grinder to cut it in half so i could turn the nut , took almost a whole day to change ok finally done i can drive it finally guess what noo, after spending 3 days fixing lights ,front panel ,rear lights , sorting out the mil light needed a air temp sensor fixed , bonnet on lets take it to mot got it runnin for an hour i see the car pissing antifreeze after building up the pressure again i found out my newly reconditioned radiator had a f
kin hole , now i have to take it all apart and get it fixed or buy a aliminium one , also i try to start the car again to put it on the ramp my battery was flat in 5 min also need a new battery that means i need to take of all the air in take st , about to go crazy
i cant take it no more

I feel for you mate - hope you've chilled out a bit since you wrote the post 
But not HUGE problems after all the work you've done are they? More just a pain in the ass after you think you had done everything.
Take the Rad back to the place that fixed it and either shoot them or get them to fix it properly. And a new battery isn't the the end of the world.

Windows down, shades on, gently up to third - sod it, its up to temp - floor it, lift off, listen to the popping and banging, ease gently on the throttle to bring it to a gentle bassy cruise. Life is good.
It'll be worth it, trust me, you have one of the greatest cars ever made. Not many people will get to experience it, tempremental or not, it's worth it.

I feel for you mate....they are a piece of work to put together...I am just about to go back in the garage AGAIN! Been spending most of my spare time on my winter refurb which started in November...
Apart from writing my regional report for the TVRCC (that was last night and lunchtime at work) ...I spnet every night last week on the cerb...missed Chatsworth ...cos working on putting suspension back together...my wife was finishing off the paint on the chassis...
Thursday night straight in from work at 17:30...mate arrives 17:45....straight in the garage...got the headers and water manifolds and engine mounts on....finished at 22:30...
So can relate to your pain...if I had a quid for everytime I have said "it will be worth it wwhen it is done...I'd have had enough cash to replace the clutch and slave..
Like the post above about listening to the overrun in 3rd....stick with it TVR's don't come bettter

I'm lucky if I can get the other half to even hold an inspection light for me!
Today she has been dying carpets for the cerbera...prior to a full replacement of interior trim winter 2010...
Lets see what Sunday brings....

Just had mine off the road for two months.
Drove it to the UK and back for the weekend and now have no clutch.
This is the pain that you suffer together which makes time behind the wheel do precious and rewarding !
Youi are now allowed to call me a wker, have a beer and get buried in the garage for another 2 hours !
