What do you think of this? Interesting POV or out of order?

Clearly a bad day at the office. I can see what he's trying to do, distinguishing between facts and the tosh spouted by spotty teenagers in 'other' automotive forums, but definitely a F minus for execution.

Still, I hear there's a new opening at Nissan very soon.

All the posts from Chip in that thread have been edited and all the comments he made removed, but you can still see them above.

10/10 for effort, it's nice to see some 'facts' from a manufacturer. 0/10 for execution, he should never work in a public facing job.

At least he tried, but all the internets do is try to mock him for pointing out that a sizeable percentage of thier customers are retards.

Is it Gareth Keenan? Assistant TO the chairman. Is that really an "exec"?

Anyway, if nothing else, there probably needs some balance on threads of this type of car. Most what I hear is regurgitated internet hyperbole from people who've never seen, let alone driven, one.

That was my thought as well, assistant to the Chairman, that's a P.A. or similar type role.

Great career move. He should be made head of marketing.

Blown out of proportion by the look of that story.
The man after all is entitled to his opinion, but waging in like that was a bit stupid. All I seemed to get was him thinking he was a Nissan power ranger and that was the end of what he needed to say.

Pwned indeed. rolleyes

What a fuss over nothing. He should never have admitted his position of employment. But hey ho, live and learn.

overweight ?

Golly even Nissan admit it now, it ought to be a lot smaller and so weigh less. The GTR looks like the USS Nimitz from the back, I'm surprised an F18 hasn't attempted to land on one by mistake.
