Hi Guys

Iam currently working in Japan, and yesterday i got treated for a trip out and see some classic Skylines (and a few other old school jap cars). I have never seen one IRL, and i was not surprised. They were awesome, and i would love to own one like the white Kenmeri.
Hope you like

Thanks for posting these, some great cars here. There's a whole corner of my lottery win garage set aside for retro jap stuff, they look just as cool as the 60's american muscle in my opinion.

Cool to see.

Are their no speed humps in Japan? All their modified cars are very low.

Always wanted a KPGC-10 'Hakosuka' Skyline. I think the going rate for an original is about £100k though frown, and that's before it leaves Japan!

Lookalikes can be had for about £15k I think.

Check out Rocky Autos in Japan, they basically fit modern Skyline running gear into the old bodyshells smile

You won't get a 'classic' GT-R for £14k these days I'm afraid. That'll be a lookalike based on a GT or GT-X model with an L-series engine rather than an S20-engined original PGC10, KPGC10 or KPGC110 ( and at the equivalent of £14k it wouldn't be as clean as any of the lookalikes in the photos ). The only genuine GT-R in the above photos is the white R33.

'Pit House' are in Hikone, Shiga ken. Right next to Lake Biwa, aren't they? Some of the views around there are very pictureseque.

Spot on. The white Kenmeri (reg 110) was somewhere between 4 and 5 million yens.

Them R30s are gorgeous.

There was one for sale in Japan a couple of months back, with a '34 Nurb engine.
