It looks like some material used in MGBs and similar to some used in Mercedes Benz in the seventies. Have you checked with the specialists?

You could try Segal Motor Trimmings. They stock a range of TVR vinyls.
I am sure I have seen this material in other cars of the era. Ginetta g15,Lotus Europa etc.
