AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Just had to re-install XP home. every thing running fine but i have no sound.
In the device manager, under other devices, it tells me that M A C is there but has a yellow ! next to it.

It looks for the drivers but cannot find any. It will not up load any from the cd. any one got any ideas.

Cheers,
Simon.

ASsuming that you can get dial-up or broadband, go on to the Windows update site and see if it gets a driver from there - I assume that the MAC is inbuilt to the motherboard and hence it should be there.

Also if you go to install the drivers, try ticking the box for "Windows Update" for one of the places to look. If not then check out what motherboard / MAC you have and try and download the drivers from the manufacturer - most make bundles of drivers so you dont need to know the precise version / revision...

It sounds like a driver issue.

If you highlight the MAC in Device Manager and select properties does it say anything about the drivers?

What computer is it? If a self build whats the motherboard?
