Access to specialist cancer care services is genuinely much better than it used to be. This is genuinely important as the sooner specialist treatments can be commenced, the better it is for the patient.

But that is all.

Well, I have been sitting here scratching my head trying to think of any and, the conclusion - nope! I give up.

I believe the share holders of BT, CSC, and other contractors for Government projects believe Labour have been a huge success to them.

How is that a success story?

We as motorists pay in 40+bn a year into the kitty, and only get about 8-9bn spent on roads...
There is no need for M6 toll if they spent the whole 40bn on roads smile

My wife reckons NHS is better than previously.

Nuclear - at least they've made a commitment to build some more.

Greater access to University - although this is a bit of a double edged sword IMO.

The thing is, whatever anyone posts up there will be a downside. Take the NHS example - services have improved, but it's cost the country an arm and a leg to do so.

Labour have done bugger and all about Nuclear.
They keep saying we need to build some, but nothing has been planned or finalised as yet

Yet they also made a commitment to sell our stake in Urenco.............meaning IF we get more nuclear power, it WILL end up costing us more

I think it's a lot less than 8-9bn spent on our roads. The figure stated is actually earmarked as 'transport' and this includes the rail network.

They have successfully managed to even out the education level in the country......sadly this was by reducing the value of University and education standards.

But a success story none-the-less hehe

They also sold Westinghouse. Reading between the lines, I suspect there were some issues relating to liability and competition, which is why they may have gotten rid of all nuclear interests. They certainly started selling up when the commitments were given to build new stuff.
