I've had a bit of a knocking sound coming from the rear of the car whenever I go over a bump in the road. Just got under the car and found a broken strut of some kind, not sure what it is or what I need to order to replace. Could someone tell me what this part is? And is it likely that this was causing this knocking sound? I actually thought it sounded like something was loose and was checking the exhausts when I spotted this, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Looks like the 'Anti-roll bar drop link'.

Rose Joint at the bottom attached to the wishbone. With a couple of rubber bushes at the top connecting the drop-link to the anti-roll bar traversing the car, to an identical set-up on the other side of the car.

Common failure due to lack of grease.
