it'll be my first time at Silverstone with my new toy a blue Atom 3/245 - have been a few times in a 997C2S - really looking forward to seeing how it goes around such a great track - a mate is coming with a yellow 997GT3 and we have Wildsy booked for the day - hope it stays dry
Ah so its you! I tried to book Wildsie for this day

I booked with Wildsie quite a while ago - we have the Vbox kit as well so can see footage of Wildsie driving the car properly afterwards !! - should be a good day - I see you have a blue and white 996GT3RS - hope to see you next week
Yep, I'll be there along with a buddy in his Ford GT. -will be appearing in our CIVIC that we are using for the Britcar 24hr race in October, bit of a shakedown to remove cobwebs and check the new engine & gearbox ahead of some final modifications. Say hi if you drop by to garage 12C.

oh yes the shameless plug: we are looking for another driver to complete the team, if you have a dream to do a 24hr race and hold a racing licence, give it some thought. More details here: www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1519506.htm

Had a great day out, some fantastic cars out there.
I Was overtaken by the GT40 just before Stowe bend, that thing sticks to the corners well.
I caught an incident on camera, a Porsche cup car came together with a yellow Elise, not too much damage. I'm guessing all these incidents are 50:50 regardless of who's fault it is ?

It was a good day, a bit busy though...
I was there in the Ford GT which performed well...
But yesterday I went through:
2 sets of front Pagid RS29 pads
2 front discs
1 set of tyres
250 litres of fuel (250 miles on the track)
It is not really a track car...
There were some cool cars out there... I loved the 2 Alfas 1750, and the 2002 Bimmer.

Your 993 looks wonderful....
What have you done to it?
I have a '74 with a 9M engine... similar specs... maybe 20-40kg heavier.... We should get out together next time.
PS
The 911 was at Fearnsport yesterday as the replacement fuel tank didn't arrive in time, hence why I came with the Ford GT...

Ah lovely car. It was going very quick at one point in the day I think?
p.s. I think we may have a mutual acquaintance Adrian F if I'm thinking of the right chap, and may even work at same place...
