How Much to have a Carb stripped and cleaned?

Heya guys,
I have a mk2 jetta 1.8gl and being the pikey that i am ive managed to get something in the carb. How much should it cost to get it stripped and all of the jets cleaned etc? Also do you know of anyone that would be good to do this in the southampton area?

Don't know how spanner handy you are but a Haynes manual and some t&e would be the best bet.

I may give it a go, I have a haynes manual waiting for me at home. I may give it a go! Any ideas of cost if that's a fail?
