Birmingham & Solihull have just beaten Mosely in the Championship rugby relegation pool. With that result, Birmingham avoid relegation, and Coventry drop to National 1 next season.

What a complete, utter joke! irked

Birmingham finished the proper season with a grand total of absolutely no wins, a single, solitary draw a stonking 21 losses, a paltry 4 bonus points, and a truly pathetic points gap of -543 for the year. Even if they hadn't had 15 points deducted for going into administration, they would still have finished 6 points adrift of Coventry (who also had 15 points deducted), and an overwhelming 37 points short of the next worst team.

Add the points scored in the regular season to those scored in this display of tttery by the rugby authorities, and Coventry are relegated with a grand total of 22 points for the whole season, whilst Birmingham stay up with a grand total of 4 points.

I couldn't care less about either actual club, but this surely has to be the biggest injustice in English sport for decades??? Let's just hope the powers that be agree, and get rid of this joke end to the season in the future.
