ok well iv spent 10 mins looking for your newbie section and couldnt find one frown

so iv opted to post in here (please move if im just being thick). Iv always known of your forum but i own a show car and have done for the past 10 years, its a fibregalss fantastic peugeot 106 GTi, which im sure many of you will not be impressed by! biggrin lol

But im now halfway through building a track toy which is my old work van, a mk 4 astra with 206,000 miles on it, its now stripped and caged and as of the start of june the diesel lump will be coming out and a good old fashioned CLET will be going in.

So i thought with a car that you guys may not laugh at (too much, as it has some showy touches) i thought now would be a good time to sign up on here and hopefully mett some people etc who are interested in track events, as i fully plan on getting my van out on track and enjoying it.

im 28 from Bedfordshire, am a carpenter, and ill think thatll do for a newbie post. Ill get some pictures up in the approiate section in a while.

Welcome smile you'll have a laugh here, it's what has kept me sane the last couple of years and some good advice too.

Would be great to see pics of the transformation of the Astra to track beast.

Have fun.

Welcome

I really enjoy it here sometimes, some really witty and intelligent posters about.

Other times I ask myself why I keep bothering to come back. hehe

Post some pictures up of the cars in the appropriate section and we'll try not to take the piss too much thumbup
