Ok, so it may be stranded on the drive, but the previous owner is going to buy me a new fan next week and all will be well again. Hopefully this is just one of those things

I nearly bought that one!
Seriously, I went to look at it a few months ago when it was up for a bit more money (even back then, it wasn't overpriced). It was a very sound car with a good history and the seller was a real gent.
The only thing that stopped me? Well I struggled with the colour - it just wasn't for me - reminded me of an MR2 colour.
If I had known how much it was eventually reduced to, I could have perhaps gone for it and funded a respray. In the end, I settled on a TVR T350.
Hope you enjoy and it certainly looks nice now it has been valeted!

If I recall it had the MBE ECU so that could be one less headache!

nice car and i aint seen a colour they dont look good in, not had mine long and still giggle like a tart to myself. Have fun
