Hi guys
I'm just starting out at fixing and tinkering with my Tuscan rather than always going to a garage.
I have just bought a Laptop to ECU lead and downloaded the software from mytuscan.co.uk however that is as far as I have got!! I can't seem to get the software to work or make any connection.
I would be grateful for some help
Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide from start to finish on how to connect and conduct a diagnostics test (an idiots guide)?
Thanks
Sam

Assuming your using the laptop serial port, unzip the software then click on ecu diagnostics, the immobiliser must be disarmed with ignition on, if the comms drop out click on 'ecu tools/reconnect to ecu' all the relevant data should appear with engine on or off.. cheers for that, I have downloaded the new software (yellow Car) and that works. It stays connected so the day ended well.

Glad to hear it Sam, i dialled in the other day, the water temperature usually sits at 75 on the dash but recently has been creeping up to 85/90, the true ecu water temperature actually reads 10 degrees lower than the dash reading so panic over! cheers for that, I have downloaded the new software (yellow Car) and that works.
