Good to catch up with a few people today, meet a few in-progress builders and put a face to a few people I've not met before. The weather held out, although a bit cold (perishing, but I'm a Southern softie) just a shame there wasn't nearly as many Ultima's there this year as last time.

Yep, good to see a few 'old' faces.

One I didn't see was the driver of the red GTR - doing a nice Russ Swift parallel parking manoeuvre with full 180deg twist

Only just warmed up though, still at least it stayed dry.

Yes, I saw the parallel parking next to the wheelie bin. Twas a very impressive and skillful manoeuvre... I think you had at least 12" to play with... :-)

Now that I can believe, I had my heater on for the whole journey, very unusual in a GTR, so must have been cold!

on a serious note though, the LS engine is so much cooler than sbc.

I dont have air con fitted yet and the cockpit was so comfortable, the sbc in similar weather last year, i was sweating me little bits off!!!
