who can bench testing a harmon becker sat nav dvd drive?

I've been though a fair bit of effort with the dvd drive in my porsche 997. A dvd is stuck in the drive and I have recieved a fair bit of help from the forums... It seems from my effort so far that the drive unit itself is faulty.

It is an original porsche unit by harmon becker. I'd prefer not to go back to porshe and would rather find a shop somewhere that can bench test the unit to make sure that is the problem and not some configuration issue with the software or installation problem due to the aftermarket dennison iPod unit that was added to the MOST optical loop. I'm in Amersham so something between here and bracknell or London would be nice...
