LFW - Mature Graduate with work experience
Discussion
Not sure what to put but will be looking for work very soon. Hoping for race team work! but will be happy with engineering related jobs.
Just finishing a BSc in Motorsports Technology but also spent time at SKF Bearings for a year's placement. Have got plenty of experience with CATIA V5; both the CAD and FEA engines. I've also got to grips with Ansys Workbench and had some experience with ProE and AutoCAD.
Final year project was the Formula student transmission (will be finishing up over the coming 3 months)having been with the UH Racing team for 3 years. I've managed to get time with a few small teams but usually due to short finances left me unable to stay with the teams.
I did spend 3 and a half years of work experience prior to university as a maintenance tech, including managing the department (small company), which included having to plan out a major installation of a new machine, plus the usual business of checking stock levels, regular maintenance schedules for various machines. Still have my counterbalance licence which is valid till November this year, will need renewing though.
Got my own transport and based primarily out of Milton Keynes.
Just thought it was worth a shot but guessing there's already a couple of people looking in here with more experience than me, in regards to experience with motorsports.
