C-spanners

Hi,

Back in the mists of time I bought 2 x 2 1/4" C-spanners for my dampers...it was only after they came that I realised that while the main spring seat is about the same size as a 2 1/4" spring seat (it's 60mm AFAICS) the lock nut is a bit smaller.

What has anyone else used to get these tight? Is there somewhere with more reasonable P&P rates than Demon Tweeks that they can be purchased from too?

Most sports motorcycles have a large adjustable centre shock - I went to my closest dealer and we just looked at different bikes until I found one that looked about right and bought a stock C-Spanner from them.

That's a job for tomorrow.
Just measured mine at dia.70 & dia.75 outside.

I got 2 x 2 1/4" C-spanners and gave one a little squeeze in the Vice to reduce size. Works just fine!
