Superb set Dave, we only have the Red Arrows, BoB Memorial flight, Waddington AWACs & Coningsby Eurofighters to keep us occupied, none of which matches up to the spectacular Mach loop.

Great shots. I'm in North Wales quite regulary and have always fancied trying my hand at these kind of shots. Would you care to share any tips such as best locations to shoot from and the ideal lens (focal length) which I also assume would need to be something that can be easily handheld. I also assume that unless they're off to war then they don't fly on weekends.

TYPE in www.fox2.co.uk link may not work though. anywhere in the region of 300mm up is ideal you can get away with a 200mmf2.8 on a 7D or with a Teleconverter.
