Hi,

In need of a new household printer.

Requirements:

  • Budget up to £100
  • Colour printing
  • Scanning
  • Copying
I am aware that the purchase price is only the first cost, and that cartridges make up a far larger cost (over the lifetime) so I don't mind spending a bit more on the initial cost if it means the cartridges cost less to replace (per number of pages printed).

Don't really print/copy enough to warrant a laser printer (unless the intial cost/cartridge cost arguement stands up)

I have access to Which but always prefer personal experience recommendations.

Thanks

Vespula

We have a Kodak AIO and it seems fine. Cartridges are about £16.00 for a set and last about the same as our previous Epson printer cartridges which were about £55.00 a set. We use it mostly for document printing but it scans and prints good photos as well. As already said, Tesco/boots photo service is that good now we use them for a lot of out photo printing.
